The moon is at its fullest and at its roundest tonight,

So spend time with you family, they will make your life bright,

Look up at the moon and think of relatives far away,

And call and talk to them today,

Eat moon cakes and send them to friends,

And today happiness has no end,

When you give moon cakes to people you are not wishing them strife,

You are hoping that they have a long and happy life,

Today the moon is round and pure,

And prosperity will come to everyone for sure.
