This poem I wrote is a concrete poem. A concrete poem is a poem that is in the shape of its main subject. I hope you enjoy reading this.
Music Notes
staccato there are many different kinds some have two beats some have one
or some are
legato quite
or low some are
be high not
it could some make
will form you sleepy
note some make
a music you jump,
do re mi but they make
when you sing music either

Lynne, it is so interesting that you are trying out different types of poetry. Concrete poems are something that can be a lot of fun to play with but sometimes it can be more difficult on a computer because it doesn't always keep the shape you are trying to get. I don't know if you have ever heard of him but there is an author named Shel Silverstein who writes poetry and has done many many concrete poems like the one you did. ReplyDeleteGood Job, It is hard to get a computer to make the shapes you are going for but I know what you were trying to accomplish. Im not sure the first column makes a whole lot of sense however but it doesn't necessarily have to, but you are doing a wonderful job with your writing and I hope you enjoying learning about different forms of it.
