A Donkey With No Skills
A long time ago there was a city called Guizhou, and in this city there were people who had never seen such a thing as a donkey. One day a person from Guizhou ordered a donkey to be sent to him. When the donkey arrived he noticed it was useless and weak. He left the donkey at the bottom of the mountain. When he left, a tiger spotted the donkey and was curious for he had never seen such a strange creature. The tiger examined the donkey from a distance and wondered what it was. The donkey called out in a loud sound. The tiger quickly ran away. After a few days the tiger walked slowly toward the donkey wondering if it was strong or vulnerable. The tiger purposely touched the donkey. The donkey got mad and kicked his hind legs up. The tiger did this for many days and he found out that though the donkey was big it only had one defense, kicking. The tiger was no longer scared so he killed the donkey and devoured it.

This fable tells us that each person has their own tricks, but all tricks will wear off. Remember to have more tricks and solutions to a problem so nothing bad will happen. A person should not use there appearances as a shield, instead we will be more successful if we actually have an intrinsic ability.
Lynne, this is a very good piece. My only suggestion would be to maybe re-word the beginning sentence. Perhaps you could break it down the sentence into a couple of ideas. Such as "A long time ago there was a city called Guizhou, and in this city there were people who had never seen such a thing as a donkey." What I am trying to suggest is that you give just a little bit more detail at the beginning to set the plot more.
