Here is the English explanation and story to a Chinese poem;
An elder brother is jealous of his younger brother because his brother is smarter than he. One day he threatened to kill his brother unless his brother could make up a poem in 7 steps. The younger brother's poem was about, "a bean and a beanstalk grew up together. One day when the bean was in the pot he was being cooked and dying. His brother was at the bottom of the pot burning him and killing him." When his elder brother heard this poem he immediately regret his actions. He didn't kill his brother, nor did his brother get revenge.
MORAL: Siblings should take care of each other. By doing so you make your parents proud and yourself happy.
七歩成詩(曹植) 煮豆燃豆萁，豆在釜中泣。本是同根生，相煎何太急！
