Chinese Poem 1#
I have been reading famous poems. I have decided to write an English summary of each poem. Here is the first one. I hope you enjoy it.
A mom sees that her child's jacket is ripped.She sews the jacket slowly. Each stitch is right next to the other. She makes sure the jacket is sewn perfectly because she is afraid that if her child comes back late he/she will be cold. A child is like a growing grass small and little while a mother is like a big strong sun. How can a child ever give or explain the time and effort their mother gives to them.
MORAL: Remember to take a time out of your day to tell your mother how much you appreciate and love her.
遊子吟:
慈母手中線，遊子身上衣。臨行密密縫，意恐遲遲歸。
誰言寸草心，報得三春暉。
