Kira-Kira

Kira-Kira is a book by Cynthia Kadohata. I highly recommend reading this book because it is touching and sweet. For one of my projects in school we had to write a song that goes along with the book we decided to read. I chose Kira-Kira. Some things in the song relate to parts of the book.This is the song I wrote. Thank you, I hope you like it.

*Kira-Kira (kee ra kee ra) means glittering or shining 

EVERYTHING IS GLITTERING

Everything is glittering, beautiful, & bright,

Even when it’s dark at night,

From things that have no life to things that can breathe,

It is kira- kira as long as you believe.

Everything is glittering, from the ocean to the sky,

Kira- kira can even describe the human eye,

Just remember everything is shining on Earth,

No matter what it is or what it’s worth.

Everything glitters, sparkles, & gleams,

& is more treasuring & bright than it seems,

From a tree, to a book, to a Kleenex tissue,

A person can make your life glittering too.
