HAPPY NEW YEAR 2013

Hi everyone, it's almost the end of 2012! I just wanted to say Happy New Year and that I'm glad the world didn't end so that we can celebrate the coming of 2013. 

New Year 2013

A rainbow flashes from the screen on the TV,

A giant colorful ball hangs for all to see,

It hangs way up like the sky above,

It hangs over couples in the crowd declaring their love,

It hangs over the people with joy on their minds,

And above the strangers chatting and being kind,

It hangs above the people, who have hearts filled with spirit,

And it hangs over the sound of happy lyrics,

It symbolizes a brand new year,

And it makes the people scream and cheer,

The colorful ball represents opportunities galore,

It hangs over the confetti that is scattered on the floor,

And when this ball drops 2012 will end,

And there is a message it will send,

It will say “happy new year” welcome to 2013,

It will be the best year anyone has seen!
