200th Anniversary of Grimm’s Fairy Tale

Hi everyone! This is a poem I wrote about the Brothers Grimm. The Brothers Grimm basically wrote a book filled with fairy tales. Their stories were a bit gory and scary but they were edited to make children stories. Some of the stories they wrote are Rapunzel, Snow White, and Cinderella. The Brothers Grimm

2 brothers with talent in literature,

Wrote stories that were mysterious and obscure,

Their writing was special and different and new,

And every story was a fairy tale, fake and not true,

Their writing was inspiring and they wrote many famous tales,

That was rewritten and rewritten and is still for sale,

Their stories were usually dark and scary,

And the brothers’ life was said to be just as unordinary,

Jacob and Wilhelm were the two brother’s name,

And they grew up poor with no fame,

They had no dad and very little friends,

And their poverty seemed no never end,

But they were soon successful and I look up to the way they write,

Their stories give me inspiration and light
