My Grandfather

My Grandfather Poem

My grandfather was very honest and wise,

He would never tell lies,

He was a man that always had a smile on his face,

During whatever time and place,

I am very sad that he had to die,

I was not ready to say good bye,

I miss him a lot,

Without him my heart might rot,

Even though his death was sad,

He didn’t want us to cry and get mad,

I know he loved his family very much,

And everything he use to say made me feel touched,

He will forever live on in our souls and hearts,

Because family can never grow apart.
