Kangaroo Rats

This is my monthly endangered animal poem. It is about the kangaroo rat. Many people are already trying to help them but many people are still hurting them.

Kangaroo Rats

It only eats grasses and seeds,

It will also munch on weeds,

It is small and harmless these kangaroo rats,

But we are taking away their habitats,

It has been endangered since 1988,

The things people do to help are great,

We need to keep these animals’ population high,

So they will not die.
