Christmas 

Christmas is always great,

It is a very special date.

Everyone sitting by the fire,

These are the days we desire.

Drinking chocolate so warm and sweet,

The holidays are a treat.

Families and friends help one another,

The weather is cold unlike summer.

Kids don’t have to go to school,

They can enjoy a day that is so cool.

The Christmas tree stands tall and grand,

People lend a helping hand.

Even though there is no sun,

Playing inside is always fun.

Decorating the house in colors like green and red,

You are so excited you don’t want to go to bed.

But when it is dark outside,

Under your covers you’ll sleep and hide.

Because Santa will come at night,

And not a single living organism should be in sight.

On this holiday carolers will sing,

When you wake up you unwrap your things.

 I hope you and your family happiness and peace,

And that the good times will never cease.
