Harp seals have been hunted for their fur,

Their history is sad this I am sure,

They like to swim but it is very hard,

When the ocean’s filled with trash and shard,

Pagophilus groenlandicus is their real name,

Seal slaughter use to be a game,

We should all try to keep them alive,

These poor and harmless creatures that have struggled to survive.
