Today one of the most endangered animals in the world is the Javan Rhino. This species has been killed for many things The government use to give out awards for killing this rhino. Today only 50 are left in the reserve in Java. Only about 10 are left in Vietnam. Please read my poem to learn about this incredible animal.
Javan Rhinos
They lived in the jungle so wild and free,
But humans came and cut down their trees,
They were hunted and shot,
Hurt and caught,
526 were killed in two years,
How many are left; this is unclear,
60 is about how much,
Some people help them; with this I am touched.
