at last it's finally here!

Good food, good friends, good news,

lots of good things to choose.

Delicious smells hang in the air,

happiness is everywhere.

Decorations hang on doors,

parties, dances, and so much more.

People cook and talk for a while,

and everywhere you turn people smile.

Laughter, cheer, I can already see,

the gathering of families.

People greet each other and say,

"Happy Chinese New Years, may you have good luck every day!"
