They are heroes to children and they spread education,

They work for schools all over the nations,

They are teachers and they teach,

They help us with math, social studies, language arts, science, and speech,

They take their time to make sure we learn things we don’t know,

Even when we are confused or slow,

Today is a day to appreciate all these people do,

For students like me and you,

Don’t forget to thank your teacher so they know that you care,

About all the things they teach you and all the things they share.
