Barry's Magical Journey

Here is a poem that my friend and I wrote together. It is a small random poem but I hope you will enjoy it. Thank you so much and please continue to read my blog.

Barry
Written by Lynne Chen and Jay Shin
There once was a boy named Barry,
Who didn’t believe in fairies,
Now Barry had no heart,
He only believed in logic, and thought he was smart,
One day he went to the zoo,
And he saw a flying kangaroo,
He couldn’t believe his eyes,
Until he realized,
That the kangaroo was real,
And not a robot made of steel,
So he finally believed in magic,
When he saw a fairy waving a sparkly stick,
So he knew the kangaroo was the fairy’s doing,
And now he believes in everything,
Except for the fact that he has to clean his room,
So he decided to go searching for a magic broom,
But to his dismay he couldn’t find any,
So he decided to save up his dollars and his pennies,
But there were none in stock, at any shop,
So instead he searched for a flying mop,
He gave up on his long, long, quest,
Because he thought it was best,
And then at eight, he went to bed,
With his stomach fully fed.
