Happy Holidays
Can’t you
tell the holidays are here,
By the way
the carolers sing,
Can’t you
tell from their smiling faces,
And the way
that sleigh bells ring.
See the
Christmas trees put up,
Enveloped
in twinkling lights,
Glowing in
the frosty air,
During each
December night.
Feel the warmth of
the fire place,
The smell of cookies
in the air,
People being reunited,
And laughter
everywhere.
Read the holiday cards,
That people mail and
send,
Spend time with all
your family,
And appreciate all
your friends.
Read this poem and
don’t forget,
To cherish those who
matter most to you,
And have a very merry holiday,
And a happy new year
too!
