Hey everyone! I want to wish everyone a very happy new year. Let's make 2015 a great year! So to start off, here is a song I wrote for one of my chemistry projects. Don’t Let It Blow

Neutrons collide with uranium again,

In a process called fission

An unstable procedure,

We don’t know what might occur.

Fuel pellets are put into bundles to produce

Energy that we, will be able to use!

Core reactors, contain fuel

That generate heat cuz that is their goal

Transfer, the heat, using coolant

Using, coolant!

The containment will start to fall!

Radiation

Will start to escape

It is dangerous,

Stop it quick before it’s too late!

Waste produced from the reactions

Makes everything harmful

Causing a lot of diseases

That can become lethal!

Haven’t we seen what it can do

In Chernobyl and Hiroshima too

Not good, not safe, not worth the risk It’s too scary!

Neutrons slow down

To make contact

With uranium!

Concrete can’t protect us from the waste it contains

Solutions to get rid of it hasn’t been attained

It’s very costly and just too hard to control

Difficult to transport

And expensive to replace!
